Also known as Miracle Berry

This particular plant is a clone of the highest yielding and fastest growing plant in my collection. Starting from this clone will give you fruit much faster than growing from seed. Your plant will be shipped well rooted in a 4in pot.

Miracle Fruit, also known as Miracle Berry is from West Africa, where the Yoruba people have been using it for generations to change their perception of taste. The fruit itself is very perishable and the U.S. FDA considers it an unregulated sweetener, making it difficult to get ahold of. In order to experience the effects, chew and spread the pulp around your mouth, then after a few minutes start experimenting with anything sour or bitter!

Growing Conditions:

Miracle Fruit grows as a dense bush, reaching up to 15ft high in nature. In my experience this plant is very easy to grow, even growing well in a window as a houseplant, although it prefers a more tropical environment.

Plant in a 50/50 mixture of peat moss and perlite, keeping the roots in a very acidic environment. Only fertilize when the soil is moist or else you risk burning the leaves. Miracle Fruit is tolerant of a wide variety of temperatures and light levels, but prefers warm temps and partial sun. Miracle Fruit is adaptable but cannot withstand frost.
